Hello,

I just bought an S4 mini in Saunalahti shop in helsinki but got a very bad surprise when I travelled..

As I travelled to morocco, I was unable to use any local sim card as it asks a network pin. this was NEVER written anywhere.

Samsung phones cannot be used outside finland :(

Does anybody know where to get those network codes from saumsung.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Regards

Yasser

Sounds like there is an "area lock" in your mobile phone in case the phone is not working with a Moroccan SIM-card. When a mobile phone is purchased from Europe, you need to talk at least 5 minutes with an European SIM-card to unlock this area lock.

In case you have been using the phone more than 5 minutes with an European SIM-card and unlocking has not happened, you need to contact the closest Samsung care for unlocking. If you are back in Finland, you may visit Elisa Shopit store. 🙂
