None knows that yet.

Yes, and that is BIG mistake! Others had to pay your surfing, p2p, warez.. Monthly fees will be doubled.
The wholesale price has been fixed. So same rates as home I guess. The rates by elisa have already increased so have the others.

Wholesale price is 7,7eur/gigabyte. So it means huge risk for Elisa. Unlimited access in Europe is about 50-60 euros per month.
Maybe sonera will give the best deal as its free in baltic already. Everybody does not travel. Wifi is everywhere. If the price goes more than now its time to look elsewhere. I changed from Sonera to Saunalahti many years back as it was cheaper. Todays prices are the same so a change wont matter

Do not forget that there will be fair use limits. The exact specifications and Saunalahti pricing may change, but preliminary limits for roaming data transfer could look something like this:

subscription type and roaming data allowance in EU

Tarkka 1M 2.6 GB/month
Tarkka 4G 5.9 GB/month
Tarkka 4G Super 7.8 GB/month
Tarkka 4G Super+ 13.0 GB/month
Huoleton 1M 6.5 GB/month
Huoleton 4G 7.8 GB/month
Huoleton 4G Super 9.1 GB/month
Huoleton 4G Super+ 15.6 GB/month
Mobiililaajakaista Mini 1.3 GB/month
Mobiililaajakaista 4G 5.7 GB/month
Mobiililaajakaista 4G Super 7.7 GB/month
Mobiililaajakaista 4G Super+ 13.0 GB/month
Mobiililaajakaista VRK 4G 0.4 GB/month

Exceeding data transfer could be charged up to 9.548 €/GB.

Subscribers may be required to maintain prevailing domestic consumption and presence over a window of four months, too. In case of excessive roaming, operators may start charging for all roaming use, including voice and sms, even after 15th June 2017.

In the case of Saunalahti and other Finnish operators, excessive roaming may be charged up to:

Voice calls 0.03968 €/min
SMS 0.0124
Data 9.548 €/GB

The price of data during excessive roaming will eventually go down in steps. By 2022 it would drop to 3.1 €/GB.

There may become exceptions to the exceptions, too, like people who provide proof to to operator that they live or work near borders, for example.
Fair enough, the entire question is the price. I pay huoleton 3g at 24.90 per month lets see how many will pay more. Lots of places even in Finland dont have 4 g forget south Europe where most Finns travel in summer. Right now Saunalahti is just selling 4g, we all dont even have signal of 4 g. Bascially what you are selling is any mobile data ( mobiililaajakaista ). Not possible to sell 3g and charge for 4g

I'm also waiting for Huoleton 3G pricing. I pay 14,90 €/month at the moment.
That is cheap. My wife pays tarkka 3g 14.90. But if you have a year sopimus from now they should not change it in June. Elisa is smart they will keep their customers and Sonera will try to take them away. As I wrote you can surf Baltic and Nordic as same home price with Sonera so Eisa is expensive already. Sonera is very quiet on this issue

The agreement is valid until end of October. I'm just wondering what would be my roaming data limit?
Should be same as now. They should honour the contracts or lose customers. We have a choice. South Europe is only holiday makers 1, 2 max 3 weeks. I think there is more panic than reality. I dont want to change from Saunalahti but if the rates keeps increasing its time to say bye bye.
Its nearly May now from 15th June new policy on roaming comes to effect whats Elisa offer ?
This is from Sonera at 29.90

Now its 30 days left and no one know anything.

Maybe we need wait 30 days or maybe change subscribtion to Telia and know the price already today ; )
yes I have done that for 1 line already and will do that if I have no news in 10 days.

Yes very bad when Elisa dont tell to its customers how they will do.

I mean this is not any surprice to Elisa they have been aware free Eu roaming will come summer 2017.
Why do this now and dont know anything.

Everybody also talking so much about the data. But how will normal talk and sms work. Will they be unlimited?
Are im able call also Swedish, Norwegian numbers for same fee??
yes it has to unlimited as per as your pack IF not then Elisa will lose customers
Käyttäjätaso 1
One of my friends have some sub in Sonera now Telia.
Told me you can call from Finland to Sweden without any extra fees.
Is this true?

In Swedish subscriptions this EU roaming only is to use data and sms/call swedish phone numbers in Finland. If you call finnish number it will cost extra.
only internet calls is free like viber whatsapp
Käyttäjätaso 1
Ok then its same as in Sweden.
Im living in the border to Finland.
Here both finnish and swedish signal works.

Im using Swedish Telia to call text swedish numbers. Same price in Finland since last year and now whole europe :)
But calling finnish numbers are very expensive still!

That I use finnish Elisa!
Im also using Elisa 4g internet. Since it works better than swedish.
But what I dont like is this when they can not tell us how they do with the roaming.

I asked that in Telia's chat. All phone calls and sms in Nordic and Baltic countries are included, so no extra charges. That's how I understood it.
What is Elisa waiting for SANTA CLAUS ?

That sounds really good finnish telia.
Strange they have different plans in swedish version.....

Starting 2017-06-15, talk and sms will be charged without roaming charges, provided that you stay in the limit of fair use. If you use your phone prevalently abroad during a window of four months, the operator can inform you, that they will start charging roaming charges for your phone usage.

This is the minimum level required by EU. Operators are of course free to offer better than minimum deals. For example, Telia Yhteys-subscriptions have roughly twice the amount of data transfer in EU compared to the minimum required by EU.

Viestintävirasto may grant exceptions to EU roaming policies, but so far they have not done so. The only thing we know so far is that Dna and Elisa have likely tried to apply for exceptions.

From Finland using a Finnish subscription, the answer is generally no.

Those particular calls are not roaming, but normal international calls. International calls have had competitive markets for a couple of decades already and it is up to you to choose an international carrier you like by dialling 99xxx international prefix in front of the number instead of + or 00.

New EU regulation starting 2017-06-15 is all about roaming charges. It will effect only roaming, for example making a call from Finland to Sweden using a Swedish subscription.

Of course, if operators are willing to offer free international calls, they can do it, but no regulation requires them to do so. Except of course international freephone 00800, which has to be free of charge.

Sonera included international calls to Nordic and Baltic countries with their Sopiva-line of subscriptions in their talk packs. But if you for example take a new Telia Yhteys-subscription and make a call from Finland to Spain, you will be charged international call charges.
