Saunalahti SIM shows active connection but no service


Hello,

I recently purchased an Saunalathi SIM card and it worked very well for 2-days. After these days, my phone still shows full "bars" and 4G connection; however, I have no internet connection and I do not have the ability to make any calls or send any SMS messages.

I have attempted to restart my device (iPhone 6S) and reinsert the SIM card multiple times, but each time I get the same result. The phone shows that I am connected to the network, but I don't receive any services.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It seems that for some reason your Rajoitukseton 4G package has not kicked in and you have been using your sim out of the balance instead.

I think you have to contact Elisa customer service:

  • By phone 010 190 240. Abnormal charges apply, typically around 0,10 €/min.
  • By making a callback request at https://elisa.fi/asiakaspalvelu/yhteystiedot/ Jump to Varaa soittoaika asiakaspalveluun and fill the fields. Valitse aihe: Asiakaspalvelu (mobiililiittymät), choose topic: Customer service (mobile services) Nimesi, your name Puhelinnumero, josta tavoitamme sinut, phone number, where we can reach you Toivomasi soittoaika, preferred callback time day.month.year and hour:minute Valitse kellonaika, choose time Sähköpostiosoitteesi, your email address LÄHETÄ, SUBMIT

Have you checked that you have not run out of balance? Dial *100# send and you should get a response like Saldo: xx.xx EUR ja voimassaoloaika päättyy: dd.mm.yyyy.

This means: Balance: xx.xx EUR and validity ends on: dd.mm.yyyy

The initial balance of Saunalahti Prepaid sim card is 6 €.

Normal calls cost 0.066 €/min. Abnormal calls, like for example 010..., 020..., 029..., 030..., 039..., 071..., 075..., premium rate like 100..., 106..., 107..., 0100..., 0200..., 0300..., 060..., 07... and international calls cost more.

Text and mms are 0.066 €/each.

Using internet without a package costs 0.066 €/megabyte with 0,99 € daily cap.

Prices for packages can be checked at Elisa Prepaid Shop, where you can also top up your sim online. The language can be switched from top right corner. New sim cards may have introductory offers, so enter the phone number to check the special offers for your sim.

Thank you for your reply.

I just checked my balance and had a balance of 00.00. I have also checked the plan that I have purchased with this message, "Saldo 0.00e, Prepaid vanhenee 08.09.2018." I assume this is why I cannot use any network services although my plan is "Rajoitukseton 4G." Let me know if you still think this is the issue.
