Seriously? Are you kidding me?

In January I tried to apply for Saunalahti Laajakaista 50M.
Elisa's infrastructure was damaged (broken cable or switch probably) so I had to switch to Saunalahti Mobiililaajakaista 4G Super (up to 100M).

Yesterday I received a phone call from Elisa offering me Saunalahti Laajakaista 50M. I was assured that the new connection would be free, because I have my own modem.

In the phone call, I specifically asked whether my current mobile broadband would be affected. The answer I received was that no change would be made to it whatsoever.

In the end I accepted the offer.

So today I plugged the landline cable to my modem. The DSL light does not light up, which means the infrastructure issue has been left untouched since January.

"Fine!" I said to myself, "It's free so I probably shouldn't make a fuss about it."

What surprises me is that my mobile broadband got downgraded to Saunalahti Mobiililaajakaista 4G (up to 50M) from Saunalahti Mobiililaajakaista 4G Super (up to 100M).

Now I don't want to know why it was not fixed after so many months. I don't want to know why I was offered an internet connection that does not work. I don't want to know why my current broadband gets downgraded despite that I was assured it would not.

I just want things back to how they were.

And next time, Elisa, if you plan to offer me anything, please make sure it works.
Otherwise, LEAVE ME ALONE!

Sorry to hear that you have had troubles when trying to have the broadband in January! :/

I sent you a private message about your contracts as explaining the situation needs to open up more deeply your customer information and we are not able to do that here on public side. 🙂
