Tv problem

my name is monjurul. I bought a tv from Elisa in April. But from June I'm facing a problem on my tv that it's stared automatically whenever it wants (like in the middle of the night) so I called to Elisa and they told me I had to call to philips because they can give me better solutions . Then I started my conversation with philips and they agree with me that they have this problem but they can not do anything for me. They gave me the solution that you can unplug the tv during the night so that you can sleep. Then I again start talking with Elisa because I bought this tv from Elisa. But the customer service manager gave me the same option. So now a day i am unplug my tv every night if i forget then i have to wake up maybe middle of the night for this tv while i still have warranty. Now I want to know do you people have any suggestions for me.

Do you have other devices attached to your TV? If you have other devices connected to the TV, try the functionality without these devices.

The problem can cause the TV automatic updates. If possible, turn automatic updates off.

Hi there.

You did it absolutely right - you can complain about product you've bought to the store. Indeed they said you should contact Philips service. I am glad you did. If they recognised the issue, why no one wanted to fix it? Philips repair will take your TV for fixing straight from your house.

When done, you'll get it back to your living room, just contact Philips customer care other time.

Before that I would recommend to reinstall whole thing, go to settings, and reintall TV. See what happens. It may or may not help, then at least, you have a claim for warranty repair.

If you face any problems at all, I recommend to contact local Maistraatti. Consumer advisors (Kuluttajaneuvonta) here will help to get your issue fixed with either Philips or Elisa for FREE.

thank you for your comment but I don’t have have any other device with my tv and I already turn off the automatic update. Philips agree with me about this problem and they told me it’s a software problem but I have to wait till the next software is coming in the market. They suggest me to unplug the tv during the night time so that I can sleep which is little bit annoying for me now a days.

Hi.

If you complain about it to Maistraatti's consumer advisors, they would suggest an awesome little bit of sale, to your TV price. If the issue is in software, and it can't be updated for fixed one right now - you could have a right for money compensation. This happens when you were unaware of this issue when buying, and it affects usage of your Philips product, that could be helpful if you contact Kune (Kuluttajaneuvonta) for solution/advise w/ Elisa/Philips.

I look to hear back from you, what happens w/ this issue.

I don't know the email for Elisa Saunalahti, usually they accept OmaElisa Chat, Call or Form.

I would suggest to go Elisa Shopit to show this paperwork you made based on your call to customer advisor in Maistraatti. I found this address on internet: asiakaspalvelu.liittymat@elisa.fi

Contacting Elisa with attachment seems so hard, I don't know what service it is.

You can always try address I found, but it may not work.

It will go to Elisa Saunalahti customer care profile.

Just wait for an answer and link PDF from your Google Drive (make it publick for the file).
