Hi,

Recently I took ADSL connection from saunalahti. I got BeWan iBox v1.0 adsl wireless router.

The default ssid is ElisaKotiXX and password is written in the back of the device.

I want to change both ssid and password.

How I can do that.

Thanks,
BT

Hi,

you can change your password and ssid in your own page, oma.saunalahti.fi. After you sign in, choose "Laajakaista ja internetpalvelut" on the left side of the page, then "Päätelaitteen asetukset" and "Muokkaa".  You can change ssid by replacing a new name over the existing one and then saving it by clicking  "Tallenna" button.

Unfortunately your own Saunalahti page is only in Finnish, but hopefully you find the instructions above sufficient enough to make the changes you want.
thanks for the reply.

how I can do it myself without saunalahti?

They must be using web interface to change. so is it know?

I mean admin URL to configure the device 192.168.100.X something like that.

It looks like saunalahti has full control for the device.

BT
I am also looking for the manual for BeWan iBox

Sorry, you cannot do that. It is running a custom firmware made for Elisa and Saunalahti.

The manufacturer does not release any firmwares for ibox either, so unfortunately you are stuck with Elisa/Saunalahti firmware.
any one know how saunalahti / elisa managing the device?
