Data roaming doesn't work outside of Finland

Make sure that your own device has data roaming enabled. It is usually a separate setting in the networks settings.

If you have set roaming barring on Oma Elisa, remove it.

Make sure that your phone has correct APN setting for the internet. Most phones do this automatically, but it may go wrong if you have used a sim card from another operator for a while. The correct APN setting for Saunalahti is internet.

Should you have Latausliittymä or Prepaid, make sure that roaming is available where you are. These two roam fully only in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Plus of course Åland archipelago, where you use domestic roaming.

Partial roaming, for voice calls and internet, is available in Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus (Greece), the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the USA.

Roaming information for invoiced subscriptions have a web page of their own.

Do you have a monthly invoiced and registered postpaid subscription, or a prepaid subscription? Prepaid phone numbers start with the numbers 046-, but please don’t post your full phone number here in the public forum for privacy reasons. 👍🏼
