Previously on my apartment building there was an agreement with Telia but now this has changed to Elisa. I am kinda worried that my modem purchased from Telia won't work. The connection is via network plug (Ethernet connection).
I read somewhere in the community that i need to share the MAC of the modem to customer service is that right?.

MAC address is needed only for cable modem connections.
