Hi there,

since November I've been charged around 25e on top of my subscription. At first I thought it was due to roaming but I wasn't abroad in December and January. What is the extra service I'm been charged for and how do I cancel it?

Hello @Paulo and welcome to the OmaYhteisö forum! 😊

I’m sorry to hear there’s been a mystery charge on your subscription 😕 the fastest and best way to figure out what exactly it is and how to cancel it is to contact our customer care. You can for example leave a callback request here, if your subscription is either a postpaid or a prepaid mobile phone subscription choose the topic Customer service (mobile subscriptions), and if it’s any other service (like a broadband connection) then choose the topic Customer service (others)

You can also contact customer care in OmaElisa’s chat, Facebook or Twitter. 👍🏼

I hope this helps!

Invoice includes rough itemisation for the charges. Have your read the invoice through carefully?

Have you called abnormal numbers, like 010, 020, 029, 030, 039, 071, 075? These incur special charges. And far too often the users of these numbers make false claims about the costs associated calling them.

Most annoyingly public administration uses these numbers, too. If your small boat doesn’t have a marine VHF radio, it is cheaper to wreck it on Estonian or Swedish coast rather than in Finland. Over here even maritime search and rescue uses an abnormal phone number!

Premium rate numbers are even more expensive. These should include price information in the advertisement, though. Such numbers include 106, 107, 0100, 0200, 0300, 0600, 0700.

Log on to Oma Elisa and check the per call itemisation for your number. Products and orders → phone number → Follow the use of your subscription.
