Omaelisa sovellus does not want to open. It tells me it needs firefox to open. I have Firefox on my phone but the sovellus does not recognise this.

We’ve discovered this problem with the OmaElisa app and some versions of the Firefox browser. We’re working on a fix which will most probably be released in the next app release.

That sounds strange if the app needs Firefox to open. What phone do you have, and have you tried reinstalling the OmaElisa app? Also, glad to have you as part of the mighty force of OmaYhteisö

Check in phones settings , that Firefox is put as default browser.

Do you have the latest version of Firefox on your phone?
Have you tried Chrome browser?
Newest version of Firefox yes, and yes it works in Chrome. I just want it to work in Firefox because I like using Firefox. Very annoying.

Clear the Play Store cache.
