if i recall correctly, this wasn’t clear even for finnish.

“Pidän nykyisen numeroni”: means that you transfer phone number from previous operator and phone number is given by user.

“Otan käyttöön uuden numeron”: means that you select new phone number.

in the below, there is a contact number or something (“yhteydenotto numero”), this number MAY or may NOT be same than a number which is transferred.
