I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and could give me some advice.
I bought a Huawei MateView 28" monitor from Elisa’s online store on November 21, 2022. It worked perfectly until recently, but now it won’t turn on at all. A consultant in the store suggested I take it to Resete, but they’re asking for €42 just for diagnostics, and that’s without any guarantee of repair.
The manufacturer’s warranty has expired, but from what I understand, under Finnish consumer law (kuluttajansuojalaki), the seller may still be responsible for issues if the product fails within a reasonable time and not due to user error.
Has anyone successfully resolved something like this through Elisa? Is there any chance Elisa would cover the diagnostics or help further?
